With threats of flash flooding and torrential downpours, we decided to stay indoors for another day. As much as I’m glad for the break, I’m bummed not to be making progress. However, I know the end will be here soon enough, so for now, I’ll just enjoy my rainy day off. I’m sure our bodies can use it.
We started with breakfast at the inn. Afterwards, we did small chores around the room and spent the day watching movies, calling family, catching up on journaling, and overall relaxing. We went outside as little as possible, leaving only to run to the store next door. There was some planning and working today. However, since much of that was done yesterday, we could totally relax today. It was fan-freaking-tastic! Tomorrow is back to reality. Back to the trail. Until then, I’ll soak in all of the “comfy” I can get.
